Our Community & Our Focus
At ISSA (Initiative for Shared Social Advancement), we believe that meaningful change begins with people — especially with young people who carry the energy, creativity, and courage to shape the future.
Our community is diverse, dynamic, and inclusive. It brings together youth, educators, athletes, artists, thinkers, volunteers, and social activists who believe in the power of collective growth through sport, cultural engagement, and critical reflection.
We focus primarily on youth development, aiming to provide safe, creative, and empowering spaces where young individuals can express themselves, connect with others, and grow into responsible, active members of society.

We see every young person as a potential agent of change — someone who can learn, lead, and lift others. At ISSA, we don’t speak to youth — we speak with them, and we grow together.
ISSA is more than an organization. It is a shared journey — built on movement, awareness, and belonging.
Our activities
We organize various activities throughout the calendar year.
Weekly prayers
Held at our local church, our prayers do not discriminate and are open to all members of the community.
Annual gatherings
Our community organizes various events, from Christmas celebrations to Easter festivities and Thanksgiving prayers.
Bible groups
Our Bible reading groups meet up a couple of times during the week, so you can choose which one suits your life the best.
Together, we will never feel lonely or lost.
